Magnetic Drive Gear Pumps
Working Principle
This device consists of two parts: a gear metering unit and a magnetic drive unit. It completely eliminates the shaft seal structure of traditional pumps, achieving contactless power transmission:
1. Power transmission process: The motor drives the outer magnetic rotor to rotate, and through the magnetic field's attractive force, it synchronously drives the inner magnetic rotor inside the isolation sleeve to rotate, which in turn drives the main gear and driven gear inside the pump chamber to mesh and operate. The isolation sleeve completely separates the inner and outer magnetic rotors, forming an absolutely sealed pump chamber.
2. Metering and conveying process: During the gear meshing process, the volume of the tooth groove at the suction end expands, creating a low pressure, and the medium is drawn in and fills the tooth groove; as the gears rotate, the medium is carried to the discharge end, where the tooth groove volume contracts, creating a high pressure and forcing the medium out at a constant flow rate. By adjusting the motor speed, the amount of medium conveyed per unit time can be precisely controlled.

The seal-less design fundamentally eliminates the risk of media leakage caused by wear of traditional pump shaft seals. This makes it particularly suitable for conveying highly toxic media (such as cyanide solutions), flammable and explosive media (such as methanol and acetone), highly corrosive media (such as concentrated nitric acid and hydrofluoric acid), and high-purity media (such as pharmaceutical raw materials and lithium-ion battery electrolytes), preventing media volatilization, pollution, personnel injury, and material waste.
2. High-precision metering and strong stability
Continuing the core advantages of gear-type volumetric metering, the flow rate has a strictly linear relationship with the motor speed and is unaffected by outlet pressure fluctuations, achieving a metering accuracy of ±0.5%. Even with changes in media viscosity and switching between high and low pressure conditions, it maintains stable flow output, meeting the stringent process requirements of fine chemical proportioning and precise reagent dosing.
