Working principle of high viscosity gear pump with sealed insulation

1. Metering Principle: A pair of high-precision meshing gears rotate within the pump chamber. A negative pressure is created at the suction end to draw in the medium, while the meshing point compresses the medium, generating high pressure, which is then discharged through the outlet. Because the displacement per gear revolution is fixed, the flow rate is directly proportional to the rotational speed; the delivery volume can be precisely controlled by adjusting the rotational speed.

2. Insulation Principle: A heat source or electric heating is introduced through the jacket to transfer heat to the pump chamber and medium channel, maintaining the medium within the set temperature range and preventing viscosity increase or solidification. The outer insulation layer reduces heat loss, achieving a temperature control accuracy of ±2~5℃.

Usage Precautions

1. Preheating is required before startup: Ensure the pump chamber and medium reach the set temperature to prevent medium solidification that could cause gear jamming

2. Regularly check the insulation system: Prevent jacket blockage and damage to the electric heating tape to ensure temperature control accuracy

3. Seal maintenance: Prevent medium crystallization on the sealing surface. Regularly check the wear of the sealing unit and replace it entirely if necessary
