The stainless steel jacketed gear metering pump is a type of positive-displacement gear pump featuring an integrated heating/insulation jacket. Thermal oil, steam, or hot water can be circulated through the jacket to control temperature or maintain heat.

Designed specifically for high-viscosity media that tend to solidify at ambient temperatures, the pump prevents crystallization and solidification-which could otherwise cause blockages-thereby ensuring fluid flow and metering accuracy.

1. Integrated jacketed insulation structure: The pump body and end covers feature hollow insulation jackets with independent inlet and outlet ports. These support heating via thermal oil, saturated steam, or hot water circulation to prevent the medium from cooling, solidifying, or crystallizing and clogging the pump chamber, ensuring stable startup and operation even in low-temperature environments.
2. 304/316 stainless steel wetted parts offer corrosion resistance and compatibility with certain mildly corrosive, high-temperature media; options include PEEK gears, double mechanical seals, and a seal-less magnetic drive configuration.
3. High-precision volumetric metering: Flow rate is linearly proportional to rotational speed, with a metering repeatability of ±0.5%. Once the temperature stabilizes, viscosity fluctuations are minimal and output flow remains steady, allowing for integration into automated dosing systems.
4. Suitable for a wide range of viscosities and temperatures; supports media temperatures up to 250–300°C and is capable of handling medium-to-high viscosity fluids. Sealing options include high-temperature fluoroelastomer (FKM) or perfluoroelastomer (FFKM) to suit high-temperature operating conditions.
5. Flexible drive options: Compatible with servo motors or variable-frequency drive (VFD) motors to meet continuous metering and transfer requirements; designed for easy disassembly and maintenance.
