DMAC delivery often requires precise control in the chemical, pharmaceutical, and electronics industries (such as polymer synthesis and lithium battery electrolyte preparation). Gear metering pumps, operating on the principle of discharging a fixed volume of liquid per gear rotation, offer metering accuracy within ±0.5% (some high-precision models can reach ±0.3%). Furthermore, the flow rate is unaffected by pipeline pressure fluctuations, ensuring long-term stable delivery and preventing product quality fluctuations caused by DMAC dosage deviations.

2. Adapting to the physical properties of DMAC, ensuring stable delivery efficiency.
Although DMAC is a low-viscosity liquid (approximately 0.92 mPa·s at 25°C, close to water), some processes may experience slight viscosity fluctuations due to temperature changes or dissolved solutes. Gear metering pumps are more adaptable to viscosity fluctuations than centrifugal pumps (which are susceptible to sudden drops in flow rate due to increased viscosity). They maintain a stable flow rate over a wide viscosity range (typically 0.1-1000 mPa·s).
The forced delivery characteristics of gear meshing overcome pipeline resistance (such as long distances and multiple elbows) that may be encountered during DMAC delivery. They also eliminate "air binding" (some pumps require exhaust to start, while gear pumps can purge air from the chamber through meshing), achieving rapid stabilization after startup.

3. Good structural sealing reduces the risk of DMAC volatilization and leakage.
DMAC is somewhat volatile (vapor pressure approximately 0.3 kPa at 25°C), and its vapor is irritating to the human respiratory tract. Gear metering pumps typically use mechanical seals (rather than the packing seals used in centrifugal pumps) for dynamic seals (such as shaft seals). Some models are equipped with magnetic seals, which effectively prevent DMAC leakage from the shaft seal, reducing the concentration of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) in the workshop and minimizing solvent loss.
