Food grade stainless steel gear pumps are fluid conveying equipment specially used in food, beverage, pharmaceutical and other fields with extremely high health and safety requirements.
Core components that come into contact with fluids, such as the pump body, gears, shafts, and seals, must be made of stainless steel that meets international/national food hygiene standards. The mainstream materials are 304 stainless steel (for basic food applications, such as beverages and sauces) or 316L stainless steel (for more demanding applications, such as acidic foods, dairy products, and pharmaceuticals).
This type of stainless steel contains high levels of nickel and chromium, has strong corrosion and rust resistance, and will not release heavy metals or harmful substances into the fluid.
