The product in the magnetic coupling gear metering pump is completely separated from the environment by a containment shell.
Magnetic drives are hermetically sealed thereby guaranteeing that environmentally hazardous, posionous, and malodorous substances are pumped. The outer magnet attached to the motor shaft causes the inner magnet attached to the pump drive shaft to turn synchronously with the motor.
Since the drive shaft is completely inside the pump housing. there is no need for a dynamic seal and pumped liquid is completely contained.
This design makes the magnetic coupling extremely safe and virtually maintenance-free.
