Alkaline Phenolic Process
Alkaline phenolic resin does not contain nitrogen, sulfur, and phosphorus elements. It has a "second hardening phenomenon" at high temperatures, has a smaller cracking tendency than furan resin sand, does not emit irritating odors, has a good production environment, and has good falling sand cleaning performance. In recent years Applications in my country are gradually increasing. Alkali phenolic process generally adds 1.1-2.0% resin (accounting for sand weight), curing agent 20-30% (accounting for resin weight); fast and slow fat-alkali phenolic process generally adds 1.5-3.0% resin, and fast fat adds 0.1~0.3% (accounting for the weight of sand), and the amount of slow grease added is 0.2~0.5% (accounting for the weight of sand). First, mix the sand with the curing agent, and then add the resin. The sand mixing time is generally 5 to 60 seconds. Due to the high viscosity of alkali phenolic resin, the viscosity is sensitive to temperature changes, and it is very corrosive to rubber. Therefore, the pumps used for pumping alkali phenolic resin and curing agent at home or abroad are almost all gear metering pumps.
